The rain was coming down heavily, loudly.Helena paced across the tent.She rose a goblet to her lips and sipped the wine.A messenger came hurrying in, his face pale, his expression panic-stricken. She put the goblet down on her chest of drawers. 'Read', she said quietly, knowing who it was from and dreading what it would say.The messenger begun to read hurriedly and in a high voice.
